high speed racing and the mystery times

"If you beat all the times show at the end of the credits of the game you get high speed racing. Which is racing the game with constant zipper speed."

So I beat all the mystery times shown at the end of the game, and nothing. Nothing at all happened. I think this must have been a rumor.
Did anyone else hear somthing like this?
Why are those times shown to you when you finish the game?
